Brenda Tate served 40 years on the Pittsburgh Police force but had a troubling life for 20 years (while serving) addicted to drugs and alcohol. Her life had many struggles starting in her childhood.

Brenda recovered after two decades of turmoil and went on to protect dignitaries coming to Pittsburgh as part of the Dignitary Protection Unit including presidents, kings, queens and Rosa Parks and the Dalai Lama!
