Canine Emergency! What to Do? June 3
June 3, 6:30pm Join Kim Riester, an experienced animal rescuer/trainer and former Special Prosecutor for Animal Cruelty, for a presentation of techniques on how to simply approach distressed animals, safely assess/triage their symptoms, and initially treat conditions. Learn how best to obtain veterinary advice prior to arrival since there is “No 911” for help. The talk includes demonstration (fake) dogs, first aid kits, stretchers, muzzles, and other tools. (Primarily focused on dogs though may be helpful for cats, rabbits, and other animals.) The program is free. Please register.
