NatureFest: Fun for All Ages! Saturday, June 27 at Noon

Join us for more summer fun as we ‘Unearth a Story’! FOR ALL AGES! Master Naturalists Pat & Gil with helpers Sarah and Jean will take us on a nature adventure–visit several interactive booths where we’ll have hands-on activities. Explore the differences and overlap of fossils, rocks, and minerals. Observe and compare their characteristics. Search for tiny fossils in sand obtained from a fossil pit (You get to keep what you find!). Learn about wild edibles. What parts of the plants can you eat? How to look carefully to be sure you identify the right plant. We’ll have some treats for you to try! And more… No registration required…Best for ages 6 and up…drop in from noon to 3….
