Take a step back in time as we explore how the holidays were celebrated in Victorian Pittsburgh! You’ll see photos from Clayton, home of the Henry Clay Frick family from 1882–1905, both from when the family lived there and as decorated by modern-day curators for holiday tours.
Local historian and The Frick Pittsburgh docent Sue Morris will share the origins of many Victorian traditions plus glimpses into the lives of not just the wealthy families of Pittsburgh but also how servants, working class and the poor celebrated Christmas.
