Join us the weekend of February 15-17 to play a round of mini golf in the stacks of the Library! It’s a fundraiser brought to you by the Friend of SNHL. Golfing opens on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. (Special Teen Golfing, grades 7 and up, on Saturday from 7:00-9:00pm.)
$5.00 per player, golf pros 10 years of age and under only $2.50.
- Gather friends and family to make a ‘team’.
- Stop by the Library any time, check in and get your clubs and balls. No registration needed.
- You can play in order or visit the holes any way you want. Play all 18!
- Don’t forget to vote for your favorite hole.
- Snacks and drinks are available too.
When you’re done, visit our Pop-Up Children’s Book Sale. Great bargains. All proceeds benefit the Library!
Want to design a mini golf hole? A fun opportunity for families, organizations, Scouts and friends! Help transform the Shaler North Hills Library into an 18-hole mini golf course. Pick a favorite theme! Folks have created so many fun golf holes in the book aisles: Harry Potter, Frozen, Pooh, Mr. Rogers, Dr. Who, SpongeBob and MORE!
Here’s some basic information about designing a mini golf hole:
- Get together and have fun designing your mini golf hole.
- Use household or recycled items AND your imagination. Easy or difficult—your choice.
- Please create a very sturdy hole—over 200+ players come through over three days.
- Book aisles are approx., 3ft by 12ft, or 18ft or 21ft long. There are also (2) free-form spaces to create a hole.
- Pick a book aisle and set-up your golf hole on Friday, February 14 between 1PM -6PM. Removal is Monday, February 17 between 5PM-8PM.
- Come play mini golf February 17-19 from 10AM to 5PM! Have fun!
