About the presenter:

Professor Werner C. Loehlein, PE, PLS, DWRE worked for the Army Corps of Engineers for over 44 years. He has worked on many major water management, reservoir, water quality and navigation projects in the Pittsburgh area. He is a co-author of the book Engineering Pittsburgh: a History of Roads, Rails, Canals, Bridges and More and now lectures at the University of Pittsburgh.
