Do you love gardening big thyme? The Shaler Garden Club seeks gardeners of all abilities and all garden types to put their best green fingers forward to showcase their gardens!

Residents in Shaler and surrounding areas are invited to enter this casual, fun contest that celebrates your talent, hard work and creativity! Share your beautiful space or nominate a friend, relative or neighbor! All types of gardens will be considered—big, small, casual, ornate, flowers, herb, vegetable and community gardens! Criteria includes: variety, story, use of space, hardscape, sustainability  and  color. Winners may have the opportunity to be part of future Great Gardens Tours.

Submit five (5) photos of your garden plus a description of what makes your garden special!

Entries due July 7, 2024. Winners to be announced Tuesday, July 23 at 6:30pm during the Shaler Garden Club’s meeting at the Library.

Ways to Enter (please note that photos are not returned!)

Scan at least FIVE (5) photos of your garden and email them to snhlibrary@gmail.com by July 7th.  Be sure to tell us what makes your garden so special. We love a good story.
